Consultant Anaesthetist

I am seeking a career anaesthetist in the UK who are ready to join a small team of dedicated clinicians striving for excellence in an efficient unit whose main workload is Orthopaedics.They would be expected to have pride in the quality of your work, be well versed and involved in clinical governance, audit and be a good team player who is ready to be flexible and willing to meet the needs of the service and colleagues. Quality improvement is seen as an important factor and we welcome innovation and enthusiasm in developing a high-quality service for our patients. We pride ourselves in striving for excellence and innovation and are developing day-case major arthroplasty pathways, adherence to GIRFT ideals as well as trialling and introducing new implants.We are open to full time or part-time applications.The quoted salary is based on a 4-day week of 10 hrs per day in line with a normal 10PA job plan but there are opportunities for additional work in the week and financial incentives, above this, for efficient lists. The on call is light and covered between the team and mainly based on advice to the Resident Medical Officer. Support PAs are built into the job plan in addition to the monthly governance meetings and we actively support ongoing CME and training.JBRP1_UKTJ
