Job: Deputy Manager Salary: £29k per annum Hours: 40 per week Location: Radstock, Somerset Amber Mace Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join a prestigious healthcare organisation based in Radstock, Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in the learning disability sector and a passion for leadership, offering a competitive salary. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in deputy managerial positions within a care setting and hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification. They will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in the efficient operation of the care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home Provide strong leadership and support to the care staff team Maintain excellent standards of care, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines Ensure the care home operates effectively in line with the needs of the residents Oversee the implementation of care plans and risk assessments Collaborate with external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and promote the care home's services Uphold a person-centered approach, promoting dignity, independence, and respect Requirements: Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a care setting NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Sound knowledge of care standards and regulatory requirements Previous experience with Learning Disabilities/Autism Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team In return for your dedication and expertise, we offer a competitive annual salary, based on 40 hours per week.
