The Dream Career: SEO Manager The Location: Sheffield City Centre The Benefits Offered: 25 days holiday + bank holidays Private Healthcare Hybrid working The Hours: Full Time – Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm The Salary: £36,000 + performance related bonus (OTE £42 K +) The Job Role: We are delighted to be representing our client in their hunt for an SEO Manager. Our client has cultivated a brilliant business and this is a super exciting time to be joining the team due to growth. Our clients are experts in content writing, SEO and digital marketing offering services to their clients across multiple sectors including automotive, ecommerce and professional services. This position has become available due to a period of growth, this new SEO Manager role will be integral in driving the business forward. Our client is looking to appoint an ambitious leader who already has extensive SEO experience, as well as a passion for leading projects and a team. There will be a real focus within this role on developing strategies to improve search rankings, and traffic for clients. This will be a client-facing role where the successful SEO Manager will build strong client relationships and attend regular meetings. The successful SEO Manager will be responsible for the following roles and responsibilities; - Successfully leading the SEO team – Account Management of client accounts taking ownership of their SEO and ensuring client goals are achieved – Regularly analysing performance on behalf of clients – Guiding clients on SEO strategy and providing regular updates on their SEO strategy – Use project management tools to track SEO progress and deadlines – Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to budget – Hands-on SEO including keyword research, link-building and overseeing on-page optimisations – Performing regular SEO audits – Actively collaborate with other teams including creative, content and digital marketing – Preparation of detailed SEO reports and presenting these to clients We would love to hear from candidates that have the following skills and experience; - Extensive experience working within SEO – Strong people management experience – Proficient using project management tools – IT literate and confident using the full suite of MS Office – Exceptional communication skills – Ability to translate SEO jargon clearly to clients to ensure they fully understand – Strong understanding of technical SEO – Proficient using Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush - Confident in a client-facing role attending client meetings in person – Experience of WordPress, Shopify and BigCommerce would be advantageous For further information about this role please contact Becca as soon as possible
