Job Title: Legal and Finance Director

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Legal and Finance Director to join our team in London. This role involves overseeing all legal and financial matters across our entities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, in addition to a strong legal and financial background. A key aspect of this role is understanding the unique business needs of our different entities to effectively manage their legal and financial affairs. Key Responsibilities: Legal Affairs: Provide comprehensive legal support and advice across all entities. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements. Manage legal risks and resolve disputes. Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Develop a deep understanding of the financial needs of each entity to optimize resource allocation and financial strategies. Project Management: Lead and manage projects across different entities. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success. Monitor and adjust project plans as needed. Collaboration and Communication: Work with different teams across entities and in various locations. Foster relationships with internal teams and external partners. Understand the business goals of different entities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications: A degree in Law, Finance, or a related field. Related professional certifications preferred. Proven experience in a legal and/or finance role. Strong knowledge of legal and financial regulations in the UK. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. An understanding of the distinct business needs of philanthropic and investment entities.
