Finitas seeks a Finance Controller to work with our client in Bristol Area. They are a leading tech firm focused on advanced solutions in communications and aerospace, known for its expertise in defense and space technologies.The ideal candidate excels in communication and analysis, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Job Title: Finance ControllerLocation: Bristol, UKSalary: Up to £85k per annumHybrid Active Security Clearance preferred. Required:Qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, etc.)Strong experience in fast-paced close processes and audit facilitation.Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX preferred.Defense experience with long-term manufacturing programs or large contracts preferred.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and ERP skills.Adaptable with proven ability to manage shifting priorities and build strong relationships. Responsibilities:Lead accounting and reporting teams, ensuring compliance and risk management.Oversee statutory reporting, audits, intercompany billing, and monthly close activities.Ensure accurate revenue recognition, collaborate with leadership, drive process improvements, and handle ad-hoc reporting and projects.
