Teaching Assistant Opportunity in North London Location: Haringey Contract Type: Full-Time, Starting ASAP Salary: £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience Are you passionate about supporting student success and well-being? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Assistant to join the team at a mainstream secondary school in Haringey. As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive student behaviour and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities: Working closely with the pastoral team, to provide behaviour support to students. Assisting in the implementation of a coordinated behaviour management, with appropriate pastoral support and resolution opportunities. Provide students with strategies to help them deal with challenging situations in school Support the day-to-day operations of the Exclusion and Reflection Room. Assist with the daily behaviour referral system and mentor students referred to the Exclusion and Reflection Room. Maintain open communication with parents/guardians. Provide behaviour change interventions, encouraging positive change and resilience. Support the establishment and maintenance of daily expectations and standards.
