Job Title: Unqualified Teacher Location: Rotherham Salary: £95 to £120 per day, depending on experience Contract type: Day-to-day, Short-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the classroom? GSL Education are seeking a motivated and dedicated Unqualified Teacher to join their client school in Rotherham. As an Unqualified Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational development of students. This position involves delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment. You will work closely with qualified teachers and support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible education. Responsibilities of the Unqualified Teacher : Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of learning. Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively. Provide support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete their work. Work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and staff as required. Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources. Requirements of the Unqualified Teacher : Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous. Strong communication and classroom management, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Confidence in supervising and engaging with students. Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions. Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects. A passion for education and supporting students' learning progress. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
