Job Advert: Multi-Skilled Operatives, Working Supervisor, Site Engineer Company: VGC Projects Location: Piccadilly Line Stations (Hyde Park Corner, Leicester Square, Northfields, Cockfosters) Start Date: 18/11/2024 Duration: 16 weeks initially Positions Available: * Multi-Skilled Operatives (3 Required) Rate: Circa £20 per hour * Working Supervisor (1 Required) Rate: Circa £24 per hour * Site Engineer (1 Required) Rate: Circa £280 per day Working Hours: * Start: 07:00 hrs * Finish: 16:30 hrs Qualifications Needed: * Sentinel * LU WSI plus Substation Pass * CSCS/CPCS * Engineering qualifications PPE Required: * Must supply own STC boots Project Description: Join us for the Piccadilly Line Upgrade involving substation works. This project will be conducted in a strict environment with regards to electrical hazards. Some sites will require a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Description of the Role: Successful candidates will be responsible for: * General building works * Concrete break out * Core drilling * Broach drilling * Intrusive surveys * Manual labour/heavy lifting Important Information: * Punctuality: All personnel must arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted to site. * Safety Briefings: Attendance at SOS briefs is mandatory. Non-participation may result in removal from site. * Flexibility: Operatives must be available to work across all Piccadilly Line sites as project demands may change
