Support Worker

We are actively looking to recruit for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join an organisation within the South Wales area on a part time temporary contract.

Job Title: Domestic Abuse Support Worker
Location: Bridgend
Contract type: Temporary
Salary: 14-16hr via Umbrella
Working week: Wednesday - Thursday 9:30am - 5pm

Domestic Abuse Support Worker Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse through one-on-one sessions, group work, and telephone support.
• Develop and implement personalized safety plans and risk assessments.
• Assist service users in accessing legal, housing, health, and financial services.
• Maintain up-to-date records and case notes in accordance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
• Raise awareness about domestic abuse within the community and participate in outreach programs.

Domestic Abuse Support Worker Requirements:

• Previous experience dealing with vulnerable tenants
• Enhanced DBS
• Full UK Driving licence
