The company is dedicated to driving the energy transition by delivering clean, reliable energy solutions for the future.About the Role:You will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects, from site origination to the ready-to-build phase. This includes liaising with key stakeholders, overseeing land, planning, and grid connection matters.Key Responsibilities:Site Origination:Identify and assess potential sites for solar PV and BESS projects using mapping tools, feasibility studies, and energy yield analysis.Engage with Distributed Network Operators (DNOs) and local authorities to explore opportunities for development.Support the team in identifying and evaluating new project opportunities.Project Development:Negotiate land agreements with landowners and oversee consultancy contracts to secure value-driven commercial decisions.Manage planning applications, grid connection processes, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.Engage with local authorities, system operators, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.Oversee project budgets, cash flow, and risk management, keeping leadership informed of significant developments.General Responsibilities:Stay updated on renewable energy industry trends and policies, attending industry conferences as needed.Mentor and develop the project team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture.Promote the company's core values and support other tasks as directed by management.About You:Ideally you will have a background in planning, technical/engineering, development, or consultancy, with 5-7 years of project management experience in the power or renewable energy sectors.Strong communication and organizational skills.Highly motivated with a positive and approachable demeanour, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.Proactive and able to work effectively within a team.Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
