Derivatives - Financial Services 4+ PQE

About the company:

Our client, a leading firm in the financial services sector, is seeking a Derivatives Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the role:

• Draft and negotiate a range of trading agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Advise clients on risk management strategies linked to derivatives trading.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to navigate the legal landscape of derivatives, including commodity futures and options.
• Guide the structuring of finance-related hedging arrangements and assist in developing innovative financial products.
• Analyse and interpret relevant regulations, offering insights for informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum 4 PQE.
• Private practice background preferred, in-house experience will be considered.
• Strong background in commodities and derivatives documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
