Experienced Garage Equipment Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an Experienced Garage Equipment Engineer based in Bedfordshire for our Family run Client specialising in the service, maintenance, repair and calibration of garage equipment, industrial doors and lubrication systems in the UK. Our client is looking for an Experienced Garage Equipment Engineer to carry out installations, repairs and maintenance on all types of garage equipment. Responsibilities - Field base role covering surrounding areas. - Diagnose and identify faults and malfunctions across all types of Garage Equipment (Vehicle Lifts, Brake Testers, Wheel & Tyre Equipment, Compressors) - Carry out MOT calibrations & preventive maintenance to a high standard. - Installation of garage Equipment (Vehicle Lifts, Brake Testers, Wheel & Tyre Equipment, Compressors) - Control of van Stock levels to ensure a first-time fix can be achieved where possible - Completion and submission of accurate paperwork - Compliance with laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace. Skills - Able to lone work and as part of a team. - Maintain good communication skills with customers and colleagues - Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
