Maintenance engineer

Job Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Leicester Shifts: Mornings, Afters, Days. Three Shift Rotation. Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (Plus Shift Premium - £7980 - £8,820) We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the upkeep and smooth running of all machinery and equipment inther shopfloor environment. This role requires a sound understanding of maintenance and servicing principles. Due to being an Aerospace company the candidate must come from a precision engineering or have experience with Multi-Axis CNC Machinery. This is a site based role. Relocation and sponsorship applications will not be considered. Job Duties: Perform regular maintenance and servicing of all machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues that arise, coordinating with other team members as needed Manage stock of spare parts and equipment to ensure smooth maintenance operations Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and repair costs Inspect and test machinery to identify any potential faults or hazards, taking corrective action as necessary Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment Updating maintenance logs and records to track equipment conditions and maintenance activities Job Requirements: Proven experience in maintenance and servicing roles, particularly in a shopfloor environment Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to maintenance tasks Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments Experience of CNC machining Centres, Such as Haas, Heidenhain or Mazak Completion of 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification Salary & Shifts 37 hours per week - three shift working pattern (AM, PM and nights) AM - Mon - Thurs 5.45am - 13.45pm and Fri 5.45am - 10.45am PM - Mon - Thurs 13.45pm - 21.45pm and Fri - 10.45am until 15.45pm Nights - Mon - Thurs 21.45pm - 05.45am and Fri - 15.45pm - 20.45pm Salary: Basic - 38k to 42k dependent on experience and premium of £7,980 - £8,820 I am looking to speak with Maintenance Engineers, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers, Electrical Maintenance Engineers, Service Engineers
