Job Description – Mobile Forktruck Engineer We are a market leader in lithium powered forktrucks and this is an amazing opportunity to work on lithium machines. We are a leading and fast-growing provider of maintenance support, services and hire of forklifts to commercial industry and business. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Service Engineer to provide routine and emergency maintenance, service and support in the Yorkshire and Humber region, onsite at customer premises. With a background in forklifts, the Forktruck Solutions Mobile Forklift Engineer will have the ability to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard. We currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so you must have the ability to prove you have sound electrical knowledge and experience. Your duties as a Mobile based forklift Engineer will include: * Servicing and repair of forklifts as directed by the Service Manager. * Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, ‘can-do’ attitude. * Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: * Solid experience with forklifts. * Confident Electrical knowledge. * City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification. * Be well-organised, methodical and process driven. * Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions. * Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure. * Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual, and polite. * Good team player. Salary and reward package: Salary: £16.50 starting - rising to £17.50 per hour upon passing a 6-month probationary period complete with overtime opportunities – dependant on experience Benefits: * Company pension upon completion of probation period * Private Medical Cover
