About the role:


Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, this role will be responsible for reducing debt, handling queries, supporting the credit control team, and working within the team to streamline the processes relating to all aspects of Credit & Compliance.


The Role:


  • Chasing customers for payment by phone and email
  • Working to challenging call and cash targets
  • Keeping the credit control system up to date with clear notes
  • Handling customer queries regarding payments and invoices
  • Identifying and escalating potential bad debts to management
  • Assisting with month end procedures and providing cover on the compliance and admin side of the department when required.
  • Credit checking clients, and verifying contracts, including payment terms and contact details.
  • Vendor Forms and Vendor Portal set ups
  • Assisting with approval and raising of Invoices
  • Encouraging and taking part in regular discussions about processes, strategy, and improvements
  • Bank statement downloads and cash allocation


Required skills:


  • Experience in B2B credit control including reducing DSO and ledger balances
  • Intermediate Excel and Word including VLOOKUP’s and pivots
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Must enjoy working as part of a hardworking team
  • Experience of using Salesforce would be an advantage
  • Fluency in a second language would be advantageous but not essential
