Job purpose:
The Education Account Manager is part of the Education team and who's role it is to manage and develop existing Education accounts. The role also requires the ability to identify additional opportunities in an account, aligning a revenue generating sales model and identifying appropriate solutions within the comapnies range of services and applying a strategy to engage with the relevant decision makers. The role will include:
  • Identfiying new business opportunities in existing schools/MAT's
  • Account Management/Revenue generation
  • Accurate forecasting against target whilst working towards meeting them
  • Developing and maintaining an opportunity pipeline
  • Build relationships influencing key decision makers to develop long term strategic relationship as a trusted advisor in exisiting and new schools/MAT's
  • Creation and execution of Account Plans
  • Position a mix of Product, Service and support solutions to schools.
  • Staying up to date with trends in the Education sector
Key activities and responsibilities:
Positioning this company as the preferred Education partner in providing Apple first portfolio managed services, supporting professional development and a wide range of EdTech solutions. Key activities and responsibilities:
  • Retaining and growing existing accounts whilst identifying and developing new opportunities within an existing account base
  • Work with the Sales leaders and wider business teams cohesively to deliver a collective message, whilst also having the experience to be independent on a day to day basis.
  • An ability to position and sell service and support orientated solutions in various Education sectors i.e Primary/Secondary/Local Authority/ Multi-Acadeny Trusts
  • Managing Salesforce forecasting and the ability to reflect an accurate pipeline of business
  • Account management and customer engagement, understanding how to work with a demanding Education customer base
  • Represent J24 at local and national events
Education, skills, knowledge and experience:
  • A track record of achieving targets in selling both products and services in an Account Management/Business Development Role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Education sector and its nuances
  • Knowledge of varied Edtech solutions, with a willingness to learn new offerings as part of planned engagement.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Demonstrable consultative sales approach to develop long term relationships
  • Passionate about technology
  • The ability to work with multiple stakeholders to articulate a solution or services offering.
  • Experience in broadening relations from Educators to Heads of departments up to Senior Management Teams and C-level.
  • Experience within the Ed Tech industry - preferable but not essential
  • An understanding of Salesforce preferred but not essential
