Network Engineer

Network & Security Engineer An opportunity for a Network Engineer who ideally have experience working with Fortinet, and/or Cisco technologies. You will be working with a rapidly growing business, who are looking to expand their team to delver remote customer installation and support of a range of network and security products. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Network Engineer who is keen to work with the latest technologies in a fast paced, challenging ISP environment. About the role: As a Network Engineer, you will install and troubleshoot a range of issues. These will include Firewalls, VoIP, Wifi, mobile performance, connectivity and web filtering technologies. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the following: Carrying out client installs and customer training Managing customer systems and responding to monitoring alarms Troubleshooting, configuration and support of a range of technologies Liaising with end customers and 3rd party suppliers About you: You will ideally (not all essential!) have some experience working with any firewall technologies, web filtering and routing / switching, ideally including some VOIP / Telephony experience. In addition to this, the following would also be desirable, though not essential to your application: Routing & Switching Understanding of network security Understanding / exposure to VoIP technologies Experience of Firewall support, install and/or configuration Routing protocols e.g. MPLS, BGP Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills This is a unique opportunity for a Network Engineer to join an organisation where you will receive excellent training and progression.
