The Company
Since their humble beginning in the 80’s this family-run business has grown into one of the UK’s largest independent food manufacturers in their sector. They supply their products to multiple sectors including travel, food service and food manufacturers across the UK and beyond.
The Role
The new Payroll & Administration Coordinator will support the HR Manager by processing of monthly payroll, and collating & processing UK data for c100 employees. You’ll perform a wide range of duties, including.
* Perform end-to-end payroll processing whilst managing payroll-related processes, such as HMRC, company policies, and PAYE regulations.
* Generate payroll reports
* Prepare BACS
* Manage and staff changes such as new starters, promotions, leavers, address changes etc
* Assist the HR Manager with Ad-Hoc administration duties
Your Skills & Experience
To be considered as the new Payroll Administrator you will need.
* Prior experience working in Payroll for a medium-sized business
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation inc tax, NI and statutory payments
* Advanced Excel (must be able to perform v-lookups & pivot tables etc)
* Experienced with Sage 50 or similar
* A people-focused and problem-solving attitude
