Deputy Care Home Manager Small Elderly Residential Home Salary: £31,000 per annum Location: Winchester 36 hrs per week Overview Florin Healthcare are excited to be working with an amazing provider for a Deputy Care Home Manager in the Winchester area. The home is a small elderly care home that provides residential care. As the Deputy Manager you will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing the care and support teams to provide excellent care to the residents in the service. You will also be asked to mentor and support existing staff members and encourage them to grow professionally. Requirements * Previous experience in a management or leadership role within a care home or healthcare setting. * Strong communication skills and the ability to manage teams independently. * Knowledge of CQC standards and other relevant legislation. * Confident in decision-making and taking initiative in the absence of the manager. * A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care. * Relevant qualifications in social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Level 5 or equivalent).
