Growth Marketing Director

£90,000-£120,000 + package

DTC start-up / Fashion

3 days in SW London / 2 @ home


I am currently working at a DTC fashion start-up looking to 7 x growth over the next 3 years. The Growth Director will be a major part of this growth reporting to the COO and building out a team. This role will be responsible for ideating and delivering the initiatives required to achieve ambitious business objectives as the brand expands internationally.


This role would suit an experienced leader with a proven track record in scaling an e-commerce start-up.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and execute the digital strategy, across acquisition and retention, to hit our ambitious growth targets.
  • Delivering a testing program to develop new marketing channels that can be scaled to a significant proportion of the revenue mix.
  • Build a creative production engine that fuels our paid social growth.
  • Drive growth through scaling performance marketing across multiple channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, Influencer, Affiliate, Print etc) and regions.
  • Owning, optimising, tracking and reporting customer behaviour through the full funnel of acquisition and conversion
  • Deliver a best-in-class website conversion experience through testing and project managing development projects.
  • Create a best-in-class lifecycle marketing function to drive long-term LTV.
  • Analysing quantitative and qualitative data for business insights, improving our data-stack as you go
  • Work closely with the brand team to turn the purpose and brand identity into a competitive advantage, directing creative requirements and acquisition and retention efforts
  • Develop and grow a lean, skilled and focused growth team.
  • Own the setting, strategic adjustment to and monitoring of spend and departmental budgets. Helping model out different scenarios and forecasts, providing optimistic and conservative targets to the team.


Ideal Experience:


  • Strong experience driving significant, sustained growth at DTC brands
  • Have hands on experience in the following functions: Meta & Google ads, performance creative strategy, conversion rate optimisation, lifecycle marketing.
  • Excel at delivering big picture strategy, but also be able to get hands-on to build things from the ground up where necessary.
  • Have experience managing a team, high performing agencies and working with senior leadership
  • Be comfortable working in a start-up environment: working lean and quickly with available resources, making data based decisions
