Barry M Cosmetics North London Permanent, Full-Time Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 days from home. Reporting to: Head of Marketing Direct report: Marketing & Social Assistant (Co-Management)

Social & Content Marketing Executive

to join the team! We’re looking for someone TikTok & Beauty obsessed, with a love for creating content and crafting copy. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of the latest social & beauty trends. Working with the Head of Marketing on our Social & Content strategy, this is an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of Barry M’s brand content, with responsibility across owned channels, and media campaigns. We’re looking for an established marketing professional to drive results in a vibrant, fast-paced cosmetics business.

Role Responsibilities Support the Head of Marketing with the development of our Social & Content strategy, influencing the future direction of Barry M’s brand content. Co-manage Marketing & Social Assistant, overseeing projects and providing ongoing support and professional development. Copywriting: Creating new Barry M product and shade names, and creating engaging copy for our social and digital channels. Concept and create high-quality, engaging content which reaches and engages the Gen Z audience; working with internal creatives, influencers and external agencies. Establish a warm and vibrant Barry M social community, driving two-way conversation and user-participation to drive brand love and engagement, with a greater sense of belonging. Use social listening to identify opportunities to include Barry M in social trends and relevant cultural moments. Analysing social media performance providing regular reports, recommending strategies for the strongest brand cut-through. Keep your finger on the pulse of social media trends, tools and best practices. Collaborate with external digital agency for monthly brand campaigns, actively participating in strategic planning, asset creation, and setting KPIs to deliver on business goals. Conduct post-campaign reviews, analysing impact and recommending new opportunities for campaigns and channels. Plan content & model shoots with Senior Marketing Executive and Design Manager, overseeing end-to-end logistics such as concepts and casting, organising studio and production, through to image selection and delivery. Ensure all projects are executed within budget and spend is meticulously tracked. Contribute to annual strategic brand proposals, thinking innovatively and considering upcoming launches, industry insights, and trends for enhanced brand relevance. Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, Design, Sales, and New Product Development teams on a regular basis.

Skills & Experience Demonstrable Marketing experience at Executive level or equivalent, ideally within the Beauty or Fashion industry. TikTok obsessed with a real passion for beauty, keeping up to date with emerging beauty & social trends and content creators. Excited to concept and create disruptive brand content which reaches and [engages] the Gen Z audience. A naturally creative and engaging copywriter – for social, digital and marketing collateral. A self-starter – you’ll be bursting with creative and innovative ideas to drive the brand forward! Experience writing excellent content creation briefs. Experience creating social reports and analysing social performance metrics, to feed into future plans. Sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand relevance Highly organised, innovative, and motivated with an equal parts creative and strategic approach. Maintain and manage brand tone of voice across all channels and content. A real team player, able to collaborate and align on brand vision and goals.
