The Role
Reporting directly to the CTO, as the successful candidate, you’ll be working with modern web development technologies to both improve existing services and develop new ones. You’ll be joining a vibrant, fast-moving organisation where your ability to build innovative and creative solutions will be welcomed and where you can use your talents to have a real impact.

Responsibilities Include:
Technical implementation of features
Driving the quality of our solutions with robust test automation
Providing support to the rest of the team
Automating as much of the DevOps lifecycle as possible
Working with the Product Team to identify the best ways to implement new features
Reporting on progress/issues/solutions
Supporting the production service
This position would best suit a full-stack developer with a bias towards front-end development.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
We are more interested in the individual, but we anticipate the ideal candidate would have the following:
Experience working as as a web developer in a commercial environment
Commercial experience developing in a modern JavaScript front-end framework such as: React (preferred), Angular, Vue.js etc.
Experience with NextJS an advantage, but not required
Experience working with software deployed in a cloud environment
Solid foundation in Agile software development processes (Kanban/Scrum)
Experience working with Python in a commercial environment
Good knowledge of the Python and JavaScript ecosystems
Experience with Django an advantage, but not required
Experience developing, or consuming, back-end APIs
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Highly innovative, able to provide ideas and use their initiative
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Maths or a technical subject or equivalent technical experience
Fluent, idiomatic, English to C1 standard or higher on the CEFR scale
