Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the jobMy client is a consultancy that provide sustainable/ESG solutions to some of the most recognised retail brands globally. They are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst, with experience in writing technical business requirements and co-ordinating projects and tasks for ESG and sustainability delivery of products and services. This role requires a detailed knowledge of GHG protocol. A fast learner with a hands-on approach; a team player able to work together with multiple businesses and stakeholders to understand client objectives and document requirements to deliver technical solutions, including mapping the data from external systems into BI and other tools. Key accountabilities include:Working with clients to understand, scope and document their business and technical requirements for a sustainability data platform and BI tool.Become an expert in sustainability tools, including IBM Envizi. Be able to deliver technical demonstrations, framing sessions and solutions capabilities to client stakeholders.Working with Project Management to ensure delivery of the best solution for multiple clients, including user training and ongoing support.Work on ESG tasks with clients and internally to deliver legislatively compliant work including CSRD.Professional skills Ability to learn technical solutions quickly to become expert and capability to train others in these solutions.An understanding of the end-to-end software implementation process Good knowledge of Agile/ Scrum methodologyA strong command of English with excellent communication and presentation skillsExperience A Business Analyst track record with technical development.Project management experience on complex projectsIt would be nice if you have:Experience of working as a technical business analyst with sustainability projects and knowledge of ESG data topics and sustainability regulation and compliance.An experience of data mapping and consolidating.Experience at working across multiple geographies.Ideally a degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or related disciplineKey Competencies Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Detailed, precise and quality focused organisational skillsTeam playerA self-starter who seeks ways to improve current practice Challenge status quo and find better ways of working / new processes and solutionsThis role is paying up to £65,000pa (DOE) and is Hybrid, (3 days in the office) plus excellent benefits.
