Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sales/Sales Manager at Edward Sexton in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing a team of salespeople to sell bespoke menswear services to new and existing high-profile clients. Additionally, the Senior Sales/Sales Manager will be responsible for analysing sales data to develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities
- To provide the highest standard of customer service within the store at 35 Savile Row and our online customer enquiries and sales through the website.
- Develop meaningful relationships with our customers through passionate product knowledge and sincere salesperson advice.
- To demonstrate the highest product knowledge on all categories and be aware of current company marketing campaigns and international events.
- Introduce add-on sales and maximise sales in a professional and knowledgeable style.
- Ensure understanding of ongoing sales targets and business performance, tracking and reacting on a weekly basis.
- Follow all stock management procedures. Having an inventory awareness by knowing stock levels and being commercially aware of what we need and when we need it.
- Follow all store operating procedures e.g., delivery, shop standards, replenishment, and diary management.
- To maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store to deliver world-leading bespoke tailoring.
Profile
- Experience with tailoring products, ideally at an MTM and Bespoke level, in a supervisory or higher Sales Assistant position.
- Strong understanding and confidence in customer service, with an understanding of the full sales process from an initial enquiry to after-care service.
- Commercial mindset - Experience with revenue-driving targets and the ability to support the team delivering them.
- Authentic and passionate interest in bespoke tailoring, craft, and luxury products.
- Previous experience in luxury fashion
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both within the store and as written communication.
- Previous experience with Shopify (preferred).
- Previous experience shipping internationally (preferred).
