MOT Tester

Salary up to £36,000 DOE + £5,000 OTE + Birthday off! My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to join their team in Cannock. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for automotive repair, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This is a 50/50 role in MOT and vehicle Maintenance and repair. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately, using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed. Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients and addressing their needs promptly. Contribute to the overall success of the workshop, assisting with general maintenance and repairs as needed.Qualifications and Experience: Valid MOT Testing License (Class 4 and 7) Minimum of 2 years' experience holding a minimum of Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Repair Proven track record of successful vehicle diagnostics and repairs Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamBenefits: OTE - £5,000 per year Training provided Birthday off 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays Birthday off Parking on site Uniform Provided If you hold a minimum of level 2 qualification and MOT certificate in the Cannock area - please click to apply!
