Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly conceptual, hands-on Art Director with a strong background in advertising and marketing. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and content creation, with a proven ability to craft compelling visuals and ideas that resonate with diverse audiences. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable art directing in a studio environment as they are generating concepts and executing designs at their desk. Our successful candidate will also be required to be hands on in craft and creation in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Conceptualization: Develop and execute innovative visual concepts across various media channels, including digital, social, print, and video.
  • Art Direction: Lead and direct photo and video shoots, ensuring that the creative vision is brought to life with precision and creativity.
  • Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality content for social media, digital campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, designers, strategists, and account teams to ensure cohesive and impactful creative solutions.
  • Client Interaction: Present ideas and creative concepts to clients, articulating the vision and rationale behind your work.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, content creation, and social media.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Mentorship: Guide and inspire junior creatives, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.



Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Art Director, preferably within an advertising or marketing agency.Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), with a solid understanding of video editing and motion graphics tools.

Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and content strategies tailored to each.

Creative Vision: Exceptional conceptual skills, with the ability to think outside the box and push creative boundaries.

Versatility: Comfortable working across various mediums and channels, from traditional print to digital and social.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas to clients and team members

Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics and design principles.

Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and solve creative challenges efficiently


­Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with top-tier brands across various industries.
  • Familiarity with video production, photography, and other forms of multimedia content creation.
  • Knowledge of data-driven creative strategies and performance marketing.
  • A deep understanding of production techniques and how to implement them into your thinking
  • The ability to scamp ideas to help sell in ideas and explain rationale both internally & externally
