Field Service Engineer Location: Burntwood – Covering Noth of England & The Midlands Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Car + Pension + Bonus + Benefits – OTE £80k Days Based Role – Field Service Reference: Jo05843/CH The Company My client is a world leading manufacturers of turnkey process machinery solutions to a wide variety of industries. With a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within a variety of machinery solutions to the manufacturing industry. Due to further expansion within the FMCG market, they have the need to recruit an additional service engineer. Key Skills * Apprentice Trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer * Experience of PLC’s & Automated machinery * Understanding of PPM Systems The Role – with travel engineers earn up to £80k The successful candidate will be either electrical or mechanically biased engineer, ideally have some multi-skilled knowledge, who can install, commission and service a variety of handling and lifting equipment within a variety of industries. The role will include installations, servicing, repairing, building, and rebuilding of systems. This will be a service based role covering clients across the North of the UK, with some installations and commissioning. The ideal candidate will be from process machinery within an automated PLC controlled manufacturing process (PLC courses will be available) but will need to be aware that there needs to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent travelling away from home, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further training and development as the role itself will need a 12 month development program to get fully up to speed, by working closely with the current field service team.
