Specific qualifications to become a teaching assistant can vary but Academics would require the following. GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths and English Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or similar childcare qualification Some experience of working within a school setting / children Enhanced DBS check (we can provide a DBS if you do not already have one at a cost) Safeguarding Certificate or safeguarding training can be provided Good subject knowledge Patience and empathy towards pupils you are supporting Confidence and a pro-active approachWhat can Academics offer you?
