This is a full-time opportunity, available for immediate start, ideal for a teacher eager to inspire students’ interest in geography and motivate them to explore the world and its diverse environments.

About the role:
As a secondary school geography teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to explore both physical and human geography in depth. You will be expected to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and fosters a passion for understanding global issues and environments. Additionally, you will be guiding students through key geographical concepts, ensuring they develop strong analytical skills and a well-rounded understanding of the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students across various year groups.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their understanding of geographical concepts and global issues.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and exploration of diverse environments and cultures.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in pastoral care, extracurricular activities, and school events related to Geography.
• Stay up to date with the Geography curriculum and utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is highly desirable.
• A strong commitment to student achievement and personal development.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students in their exploration of geography and global understanding.
