Senior Design Project Manager

Location: London Salary: £55,000 - £65,000We are looking for an exceptional Senior Designe Project Manager to join a leading design studio in London. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the maritime and hospitality sectors, ensuring world-class designs and successful project delivery.About the Role:As a Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager, you will lead projects from inception to completion, demonstrating strong design skills and expertise in managing budgets and timelines. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects and supporting the growth of the design team. You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, team workflows, and driving the success of both design outcomes and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budgetPresent design concepts and progress at client meetingsProvide mentorship and leadership to junior and mid-level designersDevelop conceptual designs using CAD software (2D & 3D); knowledge of Vectorworks is advantageousOversee FF&E selection, material detailing, and schedulingManage on-site activities and coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineersBuild and grow client relationships, while identifying new business opportunitiesHandle project reporting, documentation, and ensure project deliverables meet the highest standardsIdeal Candidate Profile:10+ years of experience leading design projects from concept to completionDegree or diploma in Interior Design or a related fieldStrong proficiency in CAD software (2D & 3D), with Vectorworks knowledge being a plusExcellent communication, presentation, and team management skillsProven experience working on-site, with strong knowledge of project management methodologiesAbility to balance creativity with strategic planning to achieve project profitabilitySkilled in FF&E selection and specificationConfident, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslySkills Required:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to create detailed design proposals and documentationStrong organisational and time management skillsAdept at visualising concepts through sketches and CAD softwareTrack record of mentoring design teams and managing client expectationsExcellent verbal, written, and visual communication skillsWhat’s on Offer:Competitive salary based on experienceOpportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projectsCollaborate within a dynamic and design-led teamOpportunity to grow existing client relationships and develop new businessSubmit your CV and portfolio to apply for this exciting role and join a creative team in London!
