Packaging Production Operator

Job title; Packaging Production Operator Salary; £14.49ph Location; Rothley, Leicester LE7 7NL Hours; 4 on 4 off  2 days shift and 2 nights -6.00-18.00 & 18.00-06.00 Job Description: We are currently on the look out for an experienced Machine Operator within a production/manufacturing setting. This role sits at the very heart of our production line and manages all aspects of the end to end production of our products. This role supports the manufacturing process and plays a crucial part in the maintenance of machinery. We are on the look out for reliable hardworking individuals with a passion for processes and machinery to join our established team in Rothley.  This role is full time working on our 4 shift pattern of 2 days/ 2 nights 4 off so you can get that all important work-life balance. Main Responsibilities: Maintain the continuous running of our Packaging Machines  Facilitate product change overs including the loading of polyethylene reels  Interact with the Machine to solve minor issues/breakdown leading to the enhanced productivity of the machines  Carry out quality checks on productions when required and report any faults to the respective person  Carry out small maintenance activities and adjustments Support the colleagues in case of need and overview the end line process when required To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to Additional Skills/Requirements: Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is necessary  Experience working as part of a team  Excellent communication skills  Package/Benefits:  £11.59 per hour PLUS 25% shift allowance  Discounted staff shop  Competitive pension  On site staff car parking  If this roles sounds like a good opportunity for you please apply today
