Newly created career opportunity based from Ipswich with occasional UK wide travel to twenty five sites. The locations consist of offices, warehouses and dockyards. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging health and safety professional to put their own mark on this organisation and build your career in a growing global business.

The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Overseeing compliance of company locations to statutory, regulatory and industry specific requirements.
• Monitoring vehicle, plant, machinery and equipment logs to ensure inspection, certification and servicing programmes are completed.
• Preparing and undertaking audits of the Integrated Management System, to 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards.
• Providing monthly health and safety reports to the Group Management.

The Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Minimum three years health & safety. Any industry sector can be considered.
• Ability to influence and build relationships effectively at all levels.
• Experience auditing to 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards.
