Top-Tier US Firm - Investment Funds Associate - PQE 2-5 - London
A top US firm in London is looking for a talented lawyer with top-level investment funds experience to join their elite team. The primary industry focus for this position is in private and real estate funds, so experience in this would be a plus. You will currently be practising at a comparatively sized practice and have an outstanding academic record.
Responsibilities
- Represent private equity firms, with a focus on real estate private equity and fund formation
- Advise clients on a diverse range of complex cross-border transactions, including establishing funds, separate accounts and joint ventures, as well as fund investments (including primary, secondary, and portfolio investments), co-investments, and structured acquisitions and disposal.
- Act for a range of clients from listed property companies, developers, operators, private equity, mainstream and alternative lenders, and investment managers across all asset classes.
Qualifications/Experience
- Comparative law firm experience within a regarded funds practice
- PQE 2 - 5 years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An outstanding academic record
- Experience working with investment managers, private equity funds, family offices, and other financial institutions
- Act for a number of the leading financial institutions and private equity funds in European real estate finance markets
