Job Description Sushi Gourmet are recruiting a Full Time Assistant Chef Manager to come and join our team at Sainsburys in Southend Lane, Sydenham, London, SE26 4PU As our people are our most important asset, and we are seeking the right someone to join our family. Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning And able to: Accountability for the Kiosk and the team in the manager's absence, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations while on shift Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance each shift around food safety and allergen compliance. A skilled multitasker, who will support the Chef Manager by placing weekly orders, completing daily stock rotation and assisting the monthly stock take process. An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days Looking to learn new skills or improve skills already mastered, this might be your first step into management Then we would like to hear from you!
