Location: Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire Position: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview TEXO Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager for our external client. This role involves supervising all site personnel, making key day to day decisions, and ensuring site operations are executed safely, within budget, and to high standards. Key Tasks & Responsibilities * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations * Make decisions to optimise site operations and maximise margin * Liaise with the design team regarding drawings and specifications, ensuring timely implementation of TQs * Supervise site employees and non-CHAP personnel, including subcontractors and agency staff * Identify training needs and implement required training * Implement ITP inspections, issue defect notices, and oversee rectification * Monitor contract and target programmes, and develop 2-4 week look-ahead programmes * Review and propose programme changes and alternatives to increase margin * Accurately quantify materials and produce detailed material take offs * Generate and address a ‘snag’ list before project completion * Maintain site diaries and daywork sheets, challenge subcontractor dayworks as needed * Save and file project documentation timely * Ensure compliance with SMSTS provisions and management systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007) * Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by management Qualifications Essential * CITB SMSTS Site Supervisor Certificate * CSCS Card * Driver’s Licence * First Aid Desirable * Bachelor’s Degree related to construction or civil engineering * NVQ/SVQ Level 4 (or currently undertaking) * Construction trade craft apprenticeship * Minimum 2 years project supervising experience * Up-to-date knowledge of best practices * Proven ability to manage operational issues and obstacles Requirements * Experience managing multi-disciplinary, highly serviced buildings * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate * Excellent time management and prioritisation * Proficiency in Microsoft Office
