Development Technical Lead

Development Technical Lead – 9 months – hybrid London – c£550 pday inside IR35) Our government client is looking for an experienced Development Technical Lead to work on a hybrid basis with ideally 2 days per week on-site in London You will have expert knowledge of designing, building, and enhancing integrated solutions in the Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Technologies You will work with others across the programme, including Product Owners, Test Analysts, Agile Development Leads, Technical Delivery Leads, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of an optimal solution You will be accountable for ensuring that their development team produce a high-quality integrated solution, and supporting documentation, within the time, cost, scope parameters as defined by the Authority during product refinement and Agile planning process, which the DTL will be a key part. Key Knowledge/Skills •Object-oriented best practices, and software design patterns. •Software architectures such as web sites, back office transactional systems. •Agile planning and management tools and techniques. •Relevant industry standards, such as security, and PCI DSS. •Deploying Microsoft Azure services using Azure DevOps Pipelines •Taking project requirements and functional designs and interpreting them intelligently to produce technical designs and working software solutions. Essential skills: •Expert in recent version of the following development languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Javascript, SQL, and Power Shell. •Expert in TDD, Object Oriented Design, Clean Code Techniques. •Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools. •Expert in industry standard content management tools and practices. •Expert in analysing and optimising database and application performance. •Expert in designing high-volume back-office systems using the Microsoft Azure. •Experience deploying Microsoft Azure services using Azure DevOps. •Demonstrable experience of working on high-volume transactional systems of a similar size, nature, and complexity in the past 5 years. •Experience maintaining applications on Azure is essential. •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain complex information in an understandable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - SmartSourcing are a Disability Confident Employer and we promote, celebrate and value diversity, we are committed to promoting equality and inclusion for all
