Service Manager - Residential Service for Individuals with Learning Difficulties & Mental Health Conditions
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £40,000 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead a small, person-centred residential service in the heart of Nottingham, supporting individuals with Learning Difficulties and Mental Health conditions.
As the Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the daily operations of this small, close-knit residential service. You'll lead a team of caring professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for our residents. You'll be responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements, managing the budget, and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team to provide high-quality care.
• Ensure all regulatory and legislative requirements are met, including CQC standards.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability of the service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
• Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and ensure ongoing staff development.
• Promote a person-centred approach to care, ensuring individual needs and goals are met.
Requirements:
• Previous registration as a Service Manager in a similar environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in managing teams within a residential care setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
• A passion for supporting individuals with Learning Difficulties and Mental Health conditions.
• Easily commutable to Nottingham city centre.
