Join our team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

Reds10 is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and procurement processes across our diverse projects. As a key member of our team, you will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in project delivery. Job Overview:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Reds10, you will play a critical role in managing all costs related to our construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will ensure that projects are completed within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise will be essential in providing accurate financial reporting and advising on cost management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

  • You will conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new and existing projects.

  • An important role you will have is managing and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost control.

  • Another role is preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.

  • You will evaluate and negotiate contract variations and claims.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

  • When working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • You will prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and other team members.

  • Lastly you will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • CSCS

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

  • Member of or working towards RICS
