Job Description

As an Brand Designer you will be operating in the Branding and Communication Team in our Richmond office and you will work primarily in designing internal communications and initiatives for all of our offices. Which consists of over 2,000 employees across all 14 locations globally. You will be working alongside a creative team of 6 other designers and copywriters across our Richmond and South Africa office.


You will be tasked with designing visual communications to engage, influence and inform Derivco employees, drive business results and foster a positive work culture as well as creating a brand and managing Derivco's product brand identities by developing marketing materials such as logos, brochures, user interfaces for the product and campaigns.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design internal communication materials (newsletters, emails, intranet content, posters, presentations etc.)
  • Develop and maintain the internal brand identities (campaign, initiatives and product brands) and guidelines
  • Collaborate with writers, internal comms specialists, event coordinator and other creatives to produce graphic content for internal communication.
  • Conduct research to understand the Derivco target audience, it's products, company strategy, principles & values and industry trends before creating any communication assets.
  • Ensure consistency in visual communications across all internal channels by applying creativity and strategy suitable for each platform.
  • Manage and adapt to a series of different views and opinions from stakeholders and audiences,
  • Able to take all forms of feedback from a general audience in your stride, making the right decision for what's best for Derivco.
  • Manage your own time to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.


What You Will Need:

  • Graphic design principles, fundamentals and software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Ai generated graphics & prompt skills.
  • Branding and visual identity principles
  • Internal communication and employee engagement principles
  • Understanding of corporate communication goals and objectives
  • Familiar with digital communication tools and platforms
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, branding, or internal communications
  • Portfolio showcasing creative, effective design solutions for internal communications
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the iGaming or technology industry.
  • Experience in collaborating and working with distributed and remote teams
  • Able to work independently and self-manage your workload
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
