Closing date: 7th October 2024 Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience and location (+bonus +benefits) Location: The role will be based at our London or Sheffield office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.   This is a fantastic role for anyone in the early stages of their publishing career to gain knowledge and experience in publishing as part of our busy, friendly and experienced production team. We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive team player to join our busy production department.    What you'll be doing The successful candidate will work primarily on the Jessica Kingsley list, which includes print and digital products, colour and mono, fiction and non-fiction, encompassing a wide range of subjects from children’s books through to professional guides.  You will work collaboratively with the inhouse Editorial and Design teams and our external suppliers to co-ordinate all aspects of production, both print and digital, for both frontlist and reprints.  You will ensure that editions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard, to enable John Murray Press to fulfil its ambitious publishing programme.   Who we're looking for Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, and curious to learn, with a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will have some production knowledge – print and/or digital.
