Chartered Surveyor

Our client, due to business growth is seeking a Commercial Property Valuer This role is primarily working in the commercial property sector dealing with office, retail, industrial, mixed-use properties and land, together with some alternative residential asset classes such as HMOs, residential blocks etc. This Commercial Property Valuer role will be covering a geographical area and providing advice for their clients.

Job Description for the Commercial Property Valuer:

• Panel valuation instructions for secured lending purposes
• SIPP/SSAS instructions
• IHT/CGT instructions
• Rent Review & Lease Renewal instructions
• Financial Accounting instructions
• Private valuation instructions

For the Commercial Property Valuer, it would be good to see candidates with:

• MRICS or FRICS & Registered Valuer
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in the commercial property valuation sector.
• Full driving licence
• Exposure to the Staffordshire/Cheshire/Shropshire/North Birmingham/Black Country/South Manchester areas is desirable.
• Panel (VAS etc) experience desirable
• Clean Professional Indemnity record

Skills required:

• Good IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, experience with CRM systems such as Agency Pilot also useful
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage your own workload with minimum supervision, fully managing instructions, maintaining files, and preparing reports to client and RICS standards. Excellent technical and analytical capability
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. High awareness and concern for customer service requirements. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and within specific agreed fees
• Strong drive for results and highly proactive and communicative.

Salary: £45,000 + £5k car allowance + bonuses OTE £75-80k
Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
