Job Title: Senior Registered Nurse Location: Ipswich Salary: £17.03 - £18.17 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time/Permanent Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will manage a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, holistic care to our service users. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of nurses, promoting best clinical practices and ensuring compliance with current healthcare regulations. Manage staff recruitment, supervision, development, and performance. Ensure service users, and when appropriate their families or carers, are fully involved in care planning and reviews. Maintain effective communication and coordination with other departments and external partners. Provide mentorship and educational support to staff, service users, and their families. Oversee risk management and ensure adequate staff cover by planning effective rotas. Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the development of nursing care standards.Essential Requirements: NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in a clinical setting. Completion of NMC-recognised mentor training or willingness to undertake. Proven leadership skills and the ability to build and lead a team effectively. Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex or sensitive information to service users and their families.
