Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant

We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity at a firm of accountants in Cambridge, who are looking to hire at Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant level.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

Year-end accounts preparation both for on-line clients and clients using other systems, for review by account manager.

Prepare first draft of computations and tax returns for companies, sole traders and partnerships for review by account manager.

Liaise with clients as necessary to help them keep up to date with their accounting records

Support Account Managers on client matters.

Monitor status of Accounts work and report back to Account Manager as required

Monitor performance vs. budgets for clients.

Skills:

Experience gained from working in an accountancy practice

Good communication both written and verbal
