Design Engineer

Excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a niche heavy machinery manufacturer who arent connected to the current downturn in the screening and crushing industry. Based in the Cookstown area they are working in a booming market and are now keen to fill this brand new additional role to accommodate the workload. On offer is a salary of £38,000 - £45,000 plus benefits. Role -Design Engineer Design and develop new products from concept through to completion. Modify existing range of machinery to meet bespoke customer requirements. Produce working drawings and engineering specification including BOMs and operators manuals. Specify components for new and existing products. Ensure new and existing products comply with relevant regulations. Attend occasional client site visits to understand needs and establish most effective design. Person -Design Engineer Experience in full product design in a heavy engineering environment such as recycling, screening & crushing, agricultural machinery, trailers or similar is essential Competent in the use of Solid Works / Solid Edge / Creo or similar A creative and innovative thinker.
