Service Support Executive (Onboarding GP practices)
NSHI have secured an exciting new contract to deliver a Nurse Specialist led diabetes service on behalf of a world-renowned pharmaceutical company.
The role of the Service Support Executive (SSE) is to work as an integral part of the diabetes service team by identifying, engaging and onboarding GP practices and NHS localities who would benefit from receiving additional Nurse Specialist support in the management of their diabetic populations.
This will involve remotely contacting GP practices and health localities (from across the UK) to explain how this new service would support their patients achieve better glycaemic control and ultimately reduce their risk factors and improve health outcomes.
Once support is requested, each SSE will continue to work with the practice or localitys nominated lead, to ensure the service paperwork is completed in a timely manner and to complete the practice onboarding, to the point where the Audit Day is booked with an NSHI Nurse Specialist, essentially the start of the diabetes support service.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and engage with GP practices and healthcare localities across the UK
Generate interest in receiving additional diabetes nurse specialist support through the service offering
Ability to communicate the key features of the service, its delivery and the benefits to patients and the NHS
Follow up potential leads / customers in a timely and professional manner
Capture key data to assess metrics in relation to service demand, call volume, volume of calls per practice, the success rate and timing and duration of calls, to establish most effective model and contact strategy
Provide practices who request the service with the earliest available date for the audit day with a Nurse Specialist
Work on projects autonomously as dictated by the business
Deliver a flexible and adaptable service which meets local customer/client needs
Support NSHIs services through the accurate and timely implementation of all SOPS
Support the ongoing work of other NSHI teams as and when required
Work on additional projects as dictated by the business
Relevant Experience
Educated to A-level or equivalent
Sales experience
Presentation skills experience
Competent and professional telephone manner
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
Computer literate with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
High attention to detail
Ability to follow processes / workflows
Email management
