Sample Coordinator - Meals London Permanent Role This role involves sampling/tasting all meat products including lamb, beef, chicken pork, crustaceans and fish. Split across 3 factories and 1 distribution centre. The factories make chilled ready meals, houmous dips, deli products & savoury accompaniments and employs over 2,000 people. About the role An exciting opportunity for a sample coordinator to join our Bakkavor Meals London team. The successful candidate will collate, record and trend production samples for nutritional and microbiological analysis. Attention to detail coupled with a keen analytical mind and computer literacy is key for this role and full training will be provided. Role Accountabilities Logging on ALS, labelling and preparing food production samples for daily microbiological testing. Managing and preparing and logging product and swab samples for weekly/monthly pathogen testing as per schedule. Logging, labelling and preparing samples for routine nutritional testing as per schedule and follow up on failures for retesting. Assisting the technical team on the tracking and trending of results. Completing taste panels for all the products produced daily against QAS and monthly for end of life products.
