Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager for our credit bureau services, including reporting, credit risk, and affordability products. The ideal candidate will drive the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of these critical offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our digital-native lender clients and support Infact's mission to empower better lending with accurate, real-time credit data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish the product management function in partnership with our CEO and CTO
  • Own the product roadmap for core bureau services, aligning it with company strategy and market demands
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and commercial teams to define and prioritise product features
  • Gather and use market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to inform product prioritisation
  • Define product requirements and work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes in the credit information market and ensure product compliance
  • Contribute to the company's overall product strategy and vision


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, credit risk, or data services
  • Start-up / scale-up experience working with small teams to deliver great things at speed
  • Some understanding of credit risk, consumer affordability, and credit reporting processes is preferable but can be taught
  • Experience with API-first B2B products and developer-focused solutions
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Knowledge of UK financial regulations, particularly those related to credit information and lending
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Experience with real-time data systems and cloud-based infrastructures
  • Understanding of machine learning and data science applications in credit risk
  • Familiarity with the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and digital lending landscapes
  • Experience working with financial regulators or on regulated products
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling B2B products
