Our client, part of a network of over 400 locations across the UK, is seeking an experienced Client Manager to join their business advisory services in Lincoln. The role will be to develop long term relationships with new and existing clients and ensure all elements of their accounting, business support and growth needs are met. What you can expect: £30,000 - £40,000 24 days annual leave + bank holidays Study support Birthday off Nest pension Working hours Monday to Thursday 9am-5.15pm and Friday 9am-4pm (37.5 hours per week) This role will be office based in a rapidly developing retail sales environment Duties and responsibilities: Conduct client meetings face to face and virtually to engage with potential new clients / support existing clients Respond to enquiries from prospective and existing clients Ensure appropriate and profitable pricing strategies for new and existing clients Manage the workflow of client portfolios including pre-year-end meetings, preparation and submission of annual accounts, tax returns and liaising with HMRC and companies house on behalf of clients Complete self-assessment tax returns, HMRC Let Property Campaign and 60-day CGT returns Perform bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS services for assigned clients as and when needed Attend networking meetings / events to raise awareness of the organisation Provide support to management and team members when required Skills and experience required: Minimum of 2 years previous experience within an accountancy practice with exposure to personal tax computations AAT qualified / studying or QBE Up to date tax knowledge Understanding of Karbon, Xero, TaxCalc, QuickBooks, Dext desirable Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work effectively within a team environment Key attention to detail
