What you will be doing:
- Assisting in the delivery of successful NPI processes.
- Working to rectify any production issues that occur and putting in place corrective actions to ensure no reoccurrence of the issues.
- Collection of data to be able to identify and make decisions on areas for improvement.
- Communicating with all departments internally as required to ensure smooth transition of products into manufacturing.
- Supporting of the test department as required
- Helping to deliver Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site.
What you will need:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Technical knowledge of a variety of processes including SMT, AOI, etc.
- Experience of NPI processes
- A relevant electrical or electronic qualification is desirable (minimum HNC)
- Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
What you will receive:
A salary of 40,000- 45,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, etc.
The working hours
Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12:30pm on a Friday. The company do offer some flexibility around this to start and finish a little earlier or later if it suits the person.
