Individual Giving OfficerSalary: £24,215 - £25,203Location: Swanscombe (DA10 0AB)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible and hybrid working - a minimum of 2 days per week based in our Swanscombe office and our Hospice. This is an incredible opportunity for a proactive individual to join our team and thrive at building strong relationships with supporters. At ellenor, we value inclusivity and focus on providing high-quality services with compassion and care.We offer professional development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme (with the option for NHS Pension Scheme members to transfer their pension), an employee assistance program, discount schemes, a generous annual leave allowance, and much more.Key Responsibilities of the role include:Be the first point of contact for all Individual Giving inquires, via phone and email.Collaborate with the Individual Giving Team to support the planning and execution of Individual Giving campaigns.Maintain regular communication with donors, including mass audience engagements and personalised thank-you communications for individual donors.Develop and implement a stewardship programme including regular communications, with support from the wider Individual Giving Team.Respond to inquiries and communications from individual donors promptly and professionally, while confidently making outbound phone calls to build relationships.Essential requirements: Experience in working with a wide variety of contacts and maintaining relationships.Experience in effectively communicating with individuals on sensitive topics.Ability to co-ordinate a variety of tasks whilst working to agreed priorities and deadlines.Intermediate IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft office and creative platforms such as Canva.This post is subject to Standard DBS clearance.For informal enquiries please contact Maisie Hughes on 07538 893612 or email [email protected] to apply:By application form either online or downloadable from our website or by submitting a CV and cover letter to [email protected], CVs without a cover letter will not be considered. Closing date 18/10/2024Applications will be reviewed, and interviews conducted on an ongoing basis.
